In the Heart of the French Countryside

Step away from the demands of daily life and immerse yourself in a week of profound connection, growth, and relaxation at our exclusive Ashtanga Yoga retreat, guided by the renowned Laruga Glaser. Nestled in the serene beauty of an unspoilt French landscape, you’ll stay in a charming 16th-century Château, where timeless elegance meets modern comfort.

This retreat is an invitation to deepen your practice, no matter your level. Whether you’re a beginner eager to build a solid foundation or an experienced practitioner looking to refine your technique, Laruga’s expert teaching will offer you the tools, insights, and support to cultivate confidence and clarity in your practice.

Through daily Mysore-style sessions (except for the first day, which will be a Led class), Laruga will guide you through the fundamental elements of Ashtanga Yoga, helping you to build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. In addition to the daily practice, you’ll also enjoy workshops that dive deeper into the challenges of the practice—exploring techniques, adjustments, and philosophy in a safe, supportive environment.

Our goal is for every participant to leave the retreat feeling more grounded, empowered, and inspired—ready to carry the teachings into their daily life and practice back home.

This retreat is suitable for all levels of experience, and we encourage you to join us for a transformative week that will nourish your body and mind.

About Laruga Glaser

CERTIFIED TEACHER

Laruga has been practicing Ashtanga yoga continuously for over 27 years. Starting in the beginning of her 20s, she was immediately drawn to the practice after working with other forms of yoga years prior. After establishing a committed practice, she then deepened her studies traveling to Mysore, India annually to practice at KPJAYI where the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois taught and now his grandson, R. Sharath Jois teaches.

Laruga has made more than 15 trips to Mysore and is on a mission to continue to learn and grow as a student as well as a teacher. She is one of the few in the world who have been given the distinction of being certified to teach up to Advanced B, which is not easily given and takes many years to earn. Through it all, Laruga teaches as an act of deep sharing and love for what yoga develops in each individual, facilitating space to open, challenge, and inspire those to realize their inherent potential, and has been personally invited all over the world to do so.
